New Delhi, 6th June: India on Monday achieved yet another success in the world of aerospace by successfully launching the intermediate range ballistic missile Agni-4 from APJ Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha.
The range of this missile is four thousand kilometers. That is, the whole of Pakistan and almost half of China comes under its JD.
The regular user training launch conducted under the supervision of Strategic Forces Command validated all operational parameters as well as the reliability of the system.
Meanwhile, this success has reinforced India’s policy of having ‘credible minimum deterrence’. Various telemetry and radar stations located on the east coast tracked the missile.
The missile hit the target accurately meeting all the parameters. During this, the technical parameters of the missile, attack technique, navigation etc were checked.
After the test, the Strategic Forces Command said in its statement that it was a routine training launch, in which all operational parameters have been re-examined. India has once again confirmed that it will maintain its credible minimum deterrence capability by conducting this successful test.
