Amarnath Yatra all set to start from June 30 after a gap of 2 yrs

JAMMU, 25 June: After a gap of two years, Amarnath Yatra is going to start on June 30th, 2022.

While speaking to media persons, Baba Amarnath & Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas (BABA Yatri Niyas) has been working for the betterment of both Amarnath and Buda Amarnath yatras for the last many years in close coordination with the Amarnath Shrine Board and the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Kohli said that all religious, social, and trade organizations and Sabha-Biradries are ready to welcome devotees coming to Jammu to perform this yatra with great enthusiasm. It looks like a festival season with hoardings, banners, and flags everywhere around the lodgments, Bhandara, and yatri nivases. Respected Sadhu Samaj is already camping at Shri Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi and Geeta Bhawan Prade, Jammu, where they are accommodated.

Kohli informed that langar seva for Sadhu Sants and other devotees at Geeta Bhawan, organized by BABA Yatri Niyas, will start functioning from June 28th, 2022 at 6.30 P.M.

Ramesh Kumar, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, has consented to inaugurate.

Sudershan Khajuria, General Secretary, BABA Yatri Niyas appealed to the organisers/managements of all bhandaras and lodging centers to be vigilant and careful for the safety of devotees as well as their own. All these places should be under the surveillance of C.C.TV cameras 247.

Senior Vice President Sarv Shri Karan Singh Charak, Vice Presidents Shakti Dutt Sharma, Deepak Dhawan, Anoop Aggarwal, Secretaries Suresh Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Vipan Mittal, Ravinder Mittal, and Treasurer B.K. Gupta were also present.
