Lucknow, 2 July: The Uttar Pradesh government ordered the transfer of 21 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including 14 district police heads on Saturday.
According to the transfer list, Ayodhya Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shailesh Kumar Pandey has been sent to the same position in Prayagraj in place of Ajay Kumar, who has been promoted to SP CBCID Lucknow. Rohan Botre, the SP of Kasganj, has been named the new SP of Ghazipur. Prashant Verma, the SP of Kannauj, has been appointed as the SSP of Ayodhya. Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, the commandant of PAC Ghaziabad, has been appointed SP Kannauj.
SP Ghazipur Rambadan Singh has been appointed as the next Deputy Commissioner of Police for Gautam Budh Nagar. SSP Akash Tomar of Saharanpur has been appointed SP of Gonda, while SSP Vipin Tada of Gorakhpur has been appointed SSP of Saharanpur. Gaurav Grover, the SSP of Mathura, has been appointed as the next SSP of Gorakhpur. Abhishek Yadav, SSP Muzaffarnagar, has been appointed SSP Mathura, Amroha SP. Vineet Jaiswal has been appointed as the new SSP for Muzaffarnagar. Dinesh Singh, the SP of Amethi, has been appointed as the SP of Bijnor. Elamaran, Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Gautam Budh Nagar Police Commissionerate, has been appointed SP of Amethi. Santosh Kumar Mishra, SP of Gonda, has been appointed SP Mirzapur.
Kanpur Deputy Commissioner of Police BB GTS Murthy has been appointed as the new SP of Kasganj, Aditya Langhe, Deputy Commissioner of Police Varanasi, has been appointed as the new SP of Amroha, and Ajay Kumar Singh, DIG PAC Sector Mirzapur, has been assigned as DIG PAC Sector Varanasi.
Bijnor SP Ramveer has been appointed Commandant of PAC Meerut, while Kanpur Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjeev Tyagi has been promoted to SP Regional Intelligence, Ayodhya. SP Police Academy Moradabad Vijay Dhul has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police for Kanpur, as well as the CBI Special Prosecutor. Rahul Raj was appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police in Lucknow.
