Shri Ram International Airport to be ready by March-2023, MP inspects construction work

Ayodhya, 08 July: Member of Parliament (MP) Lallu Singh inspected the Maryada Purushottam ShriRam International Airport (MPSRIA) to be built as a temple model.

The officials of the Airport Authority of India (AAI) gave detailed information about the run-way and construction of the airport building to MP Lallu Singh along with the map.

The MP also saw the run-way and building construction after reaching the spot. After this, the MP also observed the model of the airport kept at the temporary office.

MP Lallu Singh said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Airport Authority of India under the Ministry of Aviation is building an airport based on the temple model in Ayodhya. In which full cooperation of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been received. The cost of the construction work of the airport is about 200 crores. With the special effort of the UP government, 317.885 acres of land for the airport has been acquired and handed over. About 503 acres of land is in the process of acquisition.

Singh further added, the airport is to be constructed in three phases. In which the work of the first phase is going on. The work of Phase II and III will be carried out simultaneously. The construction work is going on very fast. The department is busy trying to complete the work within the stipulated time. After this, the process of licensing will be completed from DGCA in about a month. After getting the license, the operation of the aircraft will start at the airport. An airbase of three aircraft is being built at the airport.

He said that parking of 150 vehicles is being made in the airport. Along with this, a 50 kW solar plant is also being installed here. The airport building will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It will have lift, accelerator facility. The entire building will be air conditioned. In which there will be arrangement for heating and cooling according to the environment. Greenery will be visible throughout the airport.
