Srinagar, 20 July: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted raids at four places in Srinagar and five places in Pulwama district.
Sources said that the raids are in connection with the recovery of 15 pistols, 30 magazines, 300 rounds and 1 silencer from four terrorists of The Resistance Front, a wing of Lashkar-e-Taiba in May this year.
Earlier on Tuesday, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) raided several places in Baramulla district in connection with the narco terror funding case.
Meanwhile, cross-border drug smuggling and the proceeds from the sale of this consignment have provided evidence of helping terror modules, separatists, overground workers (OGWs) and the families of the slain terrorists.
In the raid, the investigating agency found incriminating documents besides digital evidence. During this, some people have been arrested while many others are on the radar of the investigating agency.
Sources close to the development say that the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the NIA are working together on clues developed by the Jammu Police to solve terrorism-related cases in Jammu and Kashmir.
