Lucknow, July 20: Jitin Prasada, minister in Uttar Pradesh government, said on Wednesday that he was not dissatisfied with the Yogi Adityanath government in the state and that he had no intentions to meet central BJP officials at the time.

Prasada, who defected from the Congress of the Assembly polls, made the remarks in response to politician that he met with certain Delhis following the removal of his officer on special duty (OSD) Anil Kumar Pandey on July 18.

Earlier in the day, Adityanath suspended five other officials from Prasada’s public works department (PWD) for charges of noncompliance with the transfer rules and irregularities.

Prasada stated that he was working under the CM’s leadership to satisfy people’s expectations, and that revisions to transfers would be made if there was disorder.

“There is no question of being upset and working under the guidance of the UP CM to satisfy people’s expectations. In terms of meeting central leaders, we may do it whenever we have time. But I have no plans to meet with them right now, “the UP MLC said.โ€

โ€œEveryone is aware of PM (Narendra Modi) and CM Adityanath’s zero-tolerance policy. If there are any abnormalities in the department, the government will take immediate action. There will be a thorough investigation. Wherever there are irregularities, action will be done,โ€ he stated.
