Lucknow, July 21: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has chosen to tighten the noose around the state’s Madrasas. The state government has decided to launch an investigation into the funding of unaided Madrasas.
The UP Madrasa Board would undertake a survey to determine the management and financing patterns.
According to Iftekhaar Ahmad Javed, head of the Madrasa Board in Uttar Pradesh, the study will determine how these institutions are managed and funded. In the event of private support, the survey will also investigate its source and trend. The investigation will center on the institutions that have been sponsoring unaided Madrasas in Uttar Pradesh, as well as their sources of income.
The board chairman stated that new rules and regulations for madrasas in Uttar Pradesh will be drafted very soon. After reviewing the survey results, the state government will recognize those who are eligible.
According to Iftekhaar Ahmad, new and innovative courses would be taught in UP Madrasas beginning with the current academic session. New instructors would be assigned to teach these subjects, which include science, computer, and biology, at the Madrasas.
He stated that instructors will be recruited in accordance with the state government’s secondary school standards. It should be noted that the Yogi government has developed a strategy to improve the teaching processes in the state’s Madrasas.
