According to authorities, UP ranked top in business environment, strong cluster strength, and considerable proportion of manufacturing and service sector as a percentage of gross state domestic product (GSDP).
Uttar Pradesh has risen to the top five in the knowledge-output pillar. Senior officials observe that the high score is due to an increase in startups and new firms.
Innovation-led entrepreneurship is critical to the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ programs, and the state is determined to establish an innovation-friendly environment to boost startups, manufacturing, and services, according to Abhishek Prakash, Chief Executive Officer of Invest UP.
