Mumbai, August 1: Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray on Monday supported Sanjay Raut and said that he is proud of Raut.
He warned, time always changes, when our time comes, think what will happen to you (BJP). He further said that now the people of Maharashtra will decide, he would accept death but would not take refuge in anyone.
Thackeray went to meet Raut’s family amid Enforcement Directorate’s proceedings against the latter. He said that force was being used to eliminate regional parties. The kind of atrocities being committed on regional parties, he said think what will happen to you (BJP) after time has changed and our comes. Thackeray said that the statement of Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda has removed the mask from BJP’s face.
He said that it has become clear from Nadda’s statement that BJP does not believe in democracy; they have to eliminate all regional parties. For this reason Raut has been arrested but Raut is a staunch Shiv Sainik of Balasaheb Thackeray. He has said that he will not surrender, he will fight.
Uddhav Thackeray said that he is proud of Sanjay Raut. Now only strong and loyal are left in Shiv Sena. He said that’s why today I went to Bhandup and met Sanjay Raut’s family.
Thackeray visited Sanjay Raut’s residence Maitri Bungalow in Bhandup and met his mother. He said that Shiv Sena is standing with Sanjay Raut’s family. He has also told Sanjay Raut’s wife Varsha Raut and two daughters, Urvasi and Vidisa, not to worry in any way. Shiv Sena Secretary Vinayak Raut, MLA Ravindra Vaykar was present during the visit.
