Barabanki, 14 August: Police Reported on Sunday that an Ayodhya priest was stopped from burning Pakistan’s national flag in Barabanki and was returned home in Ayodhya.
Amit Mishra, Station House Officer (SHO) of the Badosrai Police Station, apprised, “At a function here, Ayodhya’s Mahant Pararamhans Acharya attempted to burn Pakistan’s national flag was apparended and sent back to Ayodhya. While addressing his supporters here, the prrest attracted to set fire to the flag.
Priest stated that the act is part of the partition horrors remembrance day on August 14 at the request of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
