New Delhi, April 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during a public meeting in Madhubani, Bihar on Thursday that the terrorists and conspirators involved in the Pahalgam attack will be punished beyond their imagination.

The Prime Minister said that the entire country is saddened by the brutality with which the terrorists killed innocent countrymen in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. The entire country stands with all the affected families in their grief. The government is also making every effort to ensure that the family members who are currently undergoing treatment get well soon.

He said that this attack has not only happened on unarmed tourists, the enemies of the country have dared to attack the faith of India. In this terrorist attack, someone lost his son, someone lost his brother and someone lost his spouse. Some of them spoke Bengali, some spoke Kannada, some were Odia, some were Marathi, some were Gujarati, some were sons of Bihar. Today, from Kargil to Kanyakumari, our grief and anger are the same on the death of all of them.

The Prime Minister said in strong words that the enemies of the country have dared to attack the soul of India. I want to say in very clear words that those who have carried out this attack, those terrorists and those who conspired for this attack will get a bigger punishment than they can imagine. He said, “I tell the whole world that India will identify, track and punish every terrorist and their supporters.”

He said that every possible effort will be made to ensure that terrorism is punished. The whole country is firm on this resolution.

He said that the willpower of 140 crore Indians will now break the back of the masters of terror. The Prime Minister said that every person who believes in humanity is with us. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to various countries and leaders who are standing with India in this difficult time.

In this program of National Panchayat Raj Day, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth Rs 13,480 crore. The Prime Minister said that today projects worth thousands of crores of rupees related to the development of Bihar have been inaugurated and laid the foundation stone. These various works of electricity, railways, infrastructure will create new employment opportunities in Bihar.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar on his death anniversary.
