New Delhi, 11 August: Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha was suspended from the Rajya Sabha on Friday for ‘breach of privilege’.

This step has been taken after the complaints of four MPs. The MPs had complained to the Speaker that AAP MP Raghav Chadha had added his name to the resolution without his permission.

Now the Committee of Privileges of the House will investigate Raghav Chadha and give its report and recommendation. Till its arrival, Raghav Chadha will remain suspended from the House.

During the legislative process related to the Delhi Service Bill in the Rajya Sabha, a motion was moved by Raghav Chadha. In this case, the proposal is related to adding names to the select committee.

In this, the names of four members were added without their permission. These members objected to this and said that the resolution did not have their signatures.
