Actor Rituraj Singh dies of cardiac arrest at 59

Mumbai, 20 February: TV and film actor Rituraj Singh passed away at the age of 59 due to cardiac arrest. He breathed his last on Monday night. Actor Amit Bahl has confirmed the death of Rituraj.

Rituraj worked in many TV shows like ‘Apni Baat’, ‘Jyoti’, ‘Hitler Didi’, ‘Shapath’, ‘Warrior High’, ‘Aahat’, ‘Adaalat’, ‘Diya Aur Baati’. He also appeared in the popular Hindi serial ‘Anupama’ with Rupali Ganguly. Apart from this, he worked in the films ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’, ‘Thunivu’, ‘Jersey’, ‘Hum Tum Aur Ghost’. Rituraj played the role of Rafiq in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Indian Police Force’, which was released in January. Actor Amit Bahl has expressed grief over the demise of Rituraj.

“Rituraj Singh died of cardiac arrest. He was admitted to the hospital some time ago for treatment of a pancreatic ailment. He suffered a cardiac arrest while returning home,” Bahl said.
