Ranchi (Jharkhand), 26 July: The court of Judicial Magistrate DN Shukla has imposed a fine of five hundred rupees on Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel in the check bounce case. The matter was heard in the court on Wednesday.
In the court, Ajay Kumar Singh recorded the statement of the witness while Ameesha’s lawyer sought time for cross-examination of the witness. The next hearing of the case will be on August 7. Advocate Smita Pathak argued on behalf of Ajay Singh.
It is notable that film maker Ajay Kumar Singh had filed a cheating case against actress Ameesha Patel in 2017. Ameesha Patel had taken two crore rupees from Ajay in the name of making Desi Magic film. When Ajay asked for money, Ameesha gave two cheques, which bounced.
Ajay filed a cheating case against Ameesha regarding this. Recently, Ameesha has been present in the court.
