New Delhi, Jun.15: New Delhi AIIMS Resident Doctors Association (RDA) has warned Mamta Banerjea led Bengal Government to resolve day by day worsening issue of doctors strike within 48 hours and otherwise the association would be on indefinite strike.
In a statement, RDA has stated that Bengal Government has to resolve the issue in next 48 hours so that the striking doctors may call off the strike. It is worthwhile to mention here that doctors have been offended by Mamta Banerjea stance who tried to threatened doctors of harsh action of sacking them from service while one of his colleagues was struggling for life after he got severe head injuries.
Bengal Government has been alerted by RDA while Mamta Banerjea has invited doctors for solution but doctors are adamant for unconditional apology from Mamta Banerjea for being threatened at the instance of Banejea.
Meanwhile, Indian Medical Association has also called for an indefinite strike from June17 if matter is not settled amicably till then.
