Lucknow, March 4: National President of Republican Party of India (Athawale) and Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale said in a press conference in Lucknow that Akash Anand, who was made the successor by BSP President Mayawati. Akash Anand, who is his brother’s son, has been removed from the party by Mayawati by relieving him of all responsibilities.
Athawale said that Akash Anand should join Republican Party of India (Athawale) to take forward Babasaheb’s mission.
Ramdas Athawale said that BSP’s Mayawati took the name of Baba Saheb, but did not adopt his principles. Baba Saheb had worked to take everyone along. BSP limited itself to only one caste. It opposed other castes, only then gave the slogan of Sarvajan Sukhay. Republican Party of India will contest the elections to put forth its point in the District Panchayat elections.
