Lucknow, February 17: The budget session of the Legislative Assembly will begin on Tuesday, February 18. Earlier, an all-party meeting was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana. All party leaders including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also participated in it.
Leader of the House Chief Minister Yogi requested the opposition parties to run the proceedings of the House smoothly. The Chief Minister asked the leaders of the opposition parties to raise public interest issues in the House and cooperate with the government in giving further impetus to development in the state by having a healthy discussion.
An all-party meeting was held in Vidhan Bhavan on Monday regarding the conduct of the assembly session. It was chaired by Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana. Leader of the House Yogi Adityanath said that there should be healthy discussion in the House. This also leads to development of the state and also solves the problems of the public. As a public representative, every issue related to the interest of the public should be discussed smoothly in the House. The CM said that all the members should ensure that there are no obstacles in the functioning of the House.
Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana also sought the cooperation of all the members for the smooth functioning of the House.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey, Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party MLA Bedi Ram, Vinod Saroj from Jansatta Dal Loktantrik Party etc. were present in the meeting.
