All-party meeting: Oppo demands discussion on Adani and Manipur, Centre assures to discuss all issues in Winter Session of Parliament

New Delhi, November 24: A day before the winter session of Parliament is going to begin from Monday, an all-party meeting was called by the government today.

During this, the opposition put some demands and suggestions before the government. At the same time, the government assured that these will be placed before the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and the Business Advisory Committee and appropriate decision will be taken on them.

42 leaders of 30 political parties participated in the all-party meeting held in Parliament House under the chairmanship of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. After the all-party meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere and the government listened carefully to the demands and suggestions of the opposition. The government is ready to discuss all the issues of the opposition, we only want that the House runs smoothly.

In the meeting, the issues related to Adani Group, violence going on in Manipur for the last one and a half years and Waqf Amendment Bill were also raised by the opposition.

The leaders present in the meeting said that the government is talking about bringing the Wakf Bill but its draft has not been prepared yet.

Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said that he raised the issue on the Waqf Bill that if the JPC report has not come yet, then how can the government say that we will implement the Waqf Bill. During this time in Parliament, many regional parties also raised issues related to their states.
