Lucknow, 24 December: The Lucknow police on Monday arrested two burglars who broke into the locker of Indian Overseas Bank in Chinhat area and stole customers deposits. These are the same miscreants who had fled from the police in the morning, while one of their associates was injured in the encounter. A total of three miscreants have been arrested
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Shashank Singh told reporters that the arrested accused are Balram Kumar and Kailash Bind, residents of Bihar. One of his associates, Arvind Kumar, was arrested by the police during an encounter at dawn. He has been shot in the leg. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
He said that during this time, these two miscreants escaped by dodging the police. Police was searching for them vigorously, when the police arrested them. A total of three criminals have been arrested. Police recovered three lakh rupees in cash, jewelry and a country-made pistols with cartridges from them.
