New Delhi, March 16: Along with the general elections for Lok Sabha -2024, the dates of assembly elections in four states of the country have been announced. These states include Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Sikkim.

According to the Election Commission, assembly elections will be held in Odisha in four phases. Voting will be held here on May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1.

Notification for Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections will be released on March 20 and voting will take place on April 19. Elections will be held on 60 assembly seats in the state in a single phase.

For Sikkim Assembly also, voting will be held for all 32 seats in a single phase. The date of notification will be on 20th March and voting will be on 19th April.

Notification for elections on all 175 seats of Andhra Pradesh will be issued on April 18 and voting will be held on May 13.

Apart from this, by-elections will also be held on 26 assembly seats in different states. These elections will also be held along with the general elections.
