Ambedkar Nagar, 17 Sept: Two youths suspected of yanking a girl’s duppata and running a bike over her to death in Uttar Pradesh were arrested at by the police, the police said.
On Sunday, two of the three molesters involved in a terrible event in which a 17-year-old girl fell from her bicycle after her dupatta (stole) was pulled were shot by police in Uttar Pradesh’s Ambedkar Nagar district.
The suspects, Mohammed Faisal and Shahwaz, attempted to flee police custody and were shot in the foot during the chase.
Ajit Sinha, the SP of Ambedkarnagar, stated on Sunday that Shahbaz and Faisal attempted to flee after medical treatment and were shot in the leg during a police encounter.
