Another four-lane road gift to Ayodhya, to be known as Lakshman Path

Ayodhya, 13 November: The construction work of the grand temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is underway at a fast pace. Ramlala (Infant form of Lord Ram) will also be seated in his temple in January.

Amidst all this, the connectivity of Ayodhya is also being continuously upgraded. Four lane connectivity is being provided through different roads in temple town. Now a new name of Lakshman Path is going to be added to it.

Actually, construction of Ram Path is going on at a rapid pace in Ayodhya, which is a 13 km long route from Nayaghat to Sahadatganj.

After this, after Janmabhoomi Path, Bhakti Path, Dharmapath, now Yogi government has started preparing to construct Lakshman Path. A complete action plan is also ready for the construction of this new alternative route which will be built in the name of Lord Shri Ram’s younger brother and Sheshavatar Lakshman ji.

According to District Magistrate Nitish Kumar, Laxman Path will be built from Guptarghat to Rajghat. This path will be four lane.

SP Bharti, Executive Engineer of Construction Unit II of Provincial Block PWD, the executive body designated for the construction of this path, said that about 12 km long Laxman Path is proposed parallel to the Udaya Harishchandra Ghat embankment. The width of the embankment was earlier six meters, which has been increased by one meter to seven meters. Here the width of Lakshman Path has been fixed at 18 meters.

According to the Executive Engineer, the estimate of this alternative route proposed at a cost of about Rs 200 crore has been sent to the government and is awaiting approval. Work on this scheme will be started as soon as it gets approval from the government.
