ย Udaipur, 18 February: The Ashok Singhal family, who has been the main master of the Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi movement, has contributed funds of Rs 11 crore for the grand Shri Ram temple to be built in Ayodhya.
On Wednesday, they gave a second cheque of 6 crores. Earlier, Singhal family had donated a cheque of 5 crores.
The Ashok Singhal family, which played a major role in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement, had pledged to contribute Rs 11 crore for the construction of the temple, in which a cheque of Rs 5 crore had already been given by Arvind Singhal.
However, the second cheque of the remaining amount of Rs 6 crore was handed over on Wednesday.
On this occasion, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) field campaigner Shrivardhan, Chittor province campaigner Vijayanand, department union driver Hemendra Srimali, metropolitan unionist Govind Agrawal, municipal corporation Upmahapour Paras Singhvi, etc. were present.
