ASI ‘protected’ monuments to be reopened with restrictions from July 6

From July 6, five thousand people will be able to enter the Taj Mahal in a day.

Three thousand people will be able to enter the Qutub Minar, Red Fort each day.

The number of people decided by the Ministry of Culture to enter the historical monuments.

More than 2000 people will not be able to enter the historical monuments in one day.

New Delhi, 02 July: The historic heritage of the country is being opened to the public from July 6.

The Ministry of Culture has fixed the number of people entering these monuments keeping in mind the lethal coronavirus infection.

So far, five thousand people will be able to enter the Taj Mahal each day.

Hence, two slots of two and a half thousand people have been made for the entrance. That is, two and a half thousand people will be able to enter the memorial in the first shift and two and a half thousand in the second shift.

Similarly, three thousand people will be able to enter the Red Fort and Qutub Minar in Delhi in a day. Two groups of one and a half thousand have been made for admission here.

Similarly, two thousand people will be able to enter Humayu’s Tomb and Purana Qila.

 In same way, 2500 people will be able to enter the Kornak temple, the fort of Agra, among other popular monuments of the country.

So far, two thousand people will be able to enter in a day in ancient monuments like Elephanta Caves, Sarnath, Hazardouri Palace, Golconda Fort, Ellora Caves, Shaniwar Wada, Char Minar.

With this, the entry of all the stamped monuments of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has been allowed for 2 thousand people in a day.

While entering the monuments, these rules have to be followed.

– Admission ensured only through e-ticket.

– Mandatory wearing of mask inside the memorial.

– Adherence to social distancing, group photos strictly prohibited.

– Strict refusal to carry food items inside the memorial.

– Light and sound show inside the memorial will not take place at the moment

– People entering the memorial will have to get their mobile number registered at the ticket counter.

– All the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Home Affairs will have to be followed.

– Containment zone monuments will remain closed.

– Thermal screening is necessary at the time of admission, only asymptomatic people will be able to enter
