Assembly by-polls: Yogi instructs ministers to spend nights in areas under their charge for 2 days a week

Lucknow, July 17: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with ministers at his official residence 5 Kalidas Marg on Wednesday regarding the by-polls on 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Chief Minister has asked these ministers to spend nights in the districts under their charge two days a week. Along with this, the responsibility of one assembly seat has been handed over to one or two ministers along with the ministers in charge of the respective district. For this, 10 groups of ministers have been formed.

Sources said that Chief Minister Yogi discussed in detail with the ministers in charge about the districts under their charge and got to know the situation there. The Chief Minister has asked all the 10 groups of ministers to spend nights in the district itself in view of the by-election. All the ministers in charge have also been instructed by the Chief Minister that every group has to talk to the workers. The maximum focus should be on strengthening the booth.

Each group of ministers includes minister in charge, minister of state with independent charge and minister of state.

Apart from the Chief Minister, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, Surya Pratap Shahi, Swatantra Dev Singh, Dharampal Singh, Anil Kumar, Sunil Sharma, Laxminarayan Chaudhary, Jaiveer Singh, Yogendra Upadhyay, Rakesh Sachan, Sanjay Nishad, Anil Rajbhar, Ashish Patel, Somendra Tomar, KP Malik, JPS Rathore, Jaswant Saini, Gulab Devi, Brijesh Singh, Kapildev Agarwal, Sandeep Singh, Ajit Pal Singh, Nitin Agarwal, Dayashankar Singh, Mayankeshwar Singh, Girish Yadav, Satish Sharma, Dayashankar Mishra, Ravindra Jaiswal and Ramkesh Nishad were present in this meeting.
