Ayodhya, January 14: Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said that the first phase of grand Lord Ram temple construction at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi site has been completed.
He told that 21 feet high plinth brought from Mirzapur will be made of granite stones in the construction of second phase of Ram temple. It will take 18,000 blocks of stones.
He said that if the construction of the plinth starts from February, then the construction of the plinth will be completed in the next five months. After this the sanctum sanctorum above the plinth will start taking shape.
He further stated that by December 2023, a target has been set to make Ramlala enshrined in the sanctum sanctorum.
Trust general secretary Rai told that our plan is for Ayodhya Newali Ram devotees to get complete information about the construction of Ram temple. Under this, there is a plan to broadcast on the LED screens of the city. There is a plan to broadcast a video of the progress of Ram temple construction. Every devotee who comes to Ayodhya will be able to get acquainted with the technology and grandeur of Ram temple construction.
On Friday, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, a large number of journalists gathered at the Rangmahal barrier at Ramkot in the evening under prior information.
All the journalists present along with Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, Trustee Anil Mishra, Media in-charge Sharad Sharma captured photos and videos of the construction work being done in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi site.
