Ayodhya: Notification issued for delimitation of 60 wards of Municipal Corporation

Ayodhya, July 19: The delimitation of the Municipal Corporation has been completed. A total of 60 wards of the Municipal Corporation have been made by the district administration. Notification of new delimitation of all these wards has been issued.

Meanwhile, the notification for the new delimitation of the wards of the Municipal Corporation has been issued by the district administration. Objections have also been sought from the people for the same. If there are objections, there can be a change in the localities of the wards. For this the administration has given 10 days to the people.

The list of wards includes Abhiram Das Ward, Avilainath, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Chaudhary Charan Singh, Kaushalpuri, Lala Lajpat Rai Nagar, Paramhans Das Ramchandra Das, Savarkar Nagar, Kapurri Thakur, Pandit Deendayal Nagar, Maharana Pratap, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Sardar Bhagat Singh , Sardar Patel Nagar, Chitragupta Nagar, Atal Nagar, Ashfaq Ulla Khan and Kabirnagar and Nishadraj Nagar.

Apart from this, the ward has also been named after the prolific Hindutva leader former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh. According to the notification issued, in addition wards have been made in the name of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Ram Manohar Lohia, Vikramaditya Nagar, Shaheed Abdul Hameed and Jayaprakash Narayan. Whereas Laxmisagar Nagar, Mangal Pandey, Shivaji Nagar, Ashok Singhal Nagar, Chandrashekhar Nagar, Agrasen Nagar, Chandragupta Nagar, Jhulelal Nagar, have been named after Swami Vivekananda.

In the issued notification, keeping the number of wards unchanged, 41 villages under the municipal limits have been included in the already formed wards. Due to which this time the biggest ward in the Municipal Corporation will be Ashok Singhal Ward, which will include 17 localities.

According to the issued notification, ward number 51, Ashok Singhal ward will include localities like Naya Ghat, Kachcha Ghat and Phatik Shila. Talking about the smallest ward, ward number 33 will be Saket Nagar, in which three localities are contained. In Sardar Patel, Dashrath Kund and Ramkot wards, 14 each have been included. Along with this, most of the new wards have been named after great men.
