Lucknow, 02 August: The Samajwadi Party leader Moeed Khan, an associate of Ayodhya MP Awadhesh Prasad, and another Raju Khan have been accused of rape. The victim’s family, who has accused Moeed Khan and Raju Khan of rape, met CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday and pleaded for justice. The CM assured the rape victim’s family on their plea for justice.
The rape victim’s family, who came to meet the CM in Lucknow from Ayodhya along with Bikapur MLA Amit Singh, told the media that after meeting CM Yogi Adityanath, they are not afraid of anyone. Strict action will be taken against the accused. This has been assured by CM Yogi Adityanath.
The family said that CM Yogi Adityanath is doing right with the criminals. The CM will get them justice too. We have full faith in this.
According to family’s police complaint, the girl from the scheduled caste (SC) Nishad community was hired as a daily wage labourer and repeatedly raped by Moeed and Raju for two-and-a-half months since mid-May in Bhadarsa, a township about 21km southwest of Ayodhya. The crime was detected after she was expectant.
It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister adopted a strict attitude after getting information about this matter, after which the police of Ayodhya district immediately arrested SP leaders Moin and Raju Khan.
