Ayodhya, December 28: In the last days of the calendar year, devotees and pilgrims across the country will flock to Ayodhya to offer prayer at the Shri Ram Lalla Mandir. Over one lakh Ram devotees are visiting Ram Lalla every day.
On the first day of the English year, January 1, the time for the temple to remain closed in the afternoon will be only half an hour. However, till now the ‘Garbha-Griha’ remain closed from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Shri Ram Lalla ‘Darshan’ will start again from 1 PM on January 1 which will continue till 9 PM.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Nirman Samiti chairman Nripendra Mishra today on Saturday, on the second day of his stay, closely inspected the ongoing construction work. After that, he held a meeting with the construction agencies L&T, Tata Consulting Engineers and the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust and gave necessary guidelines for the construction of the temple and the darshan arrangements.
Dr Anil Mishra, Trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, said that on January 1, most people want to start the calendar year auspiciously. In such a situation, more devotees are expected to reach for the darshan of the Shri Ram Lalla. For this reason, the time for keeping the doors closed in the afternoon has been reduced. On January 1, the darshan will start at 1 pm instead of 1.30 pm.
