Ayodhya to hold Int’l Kite Festival in advance of Ram Temple’s dedication

Ayodhya, 04 Jan: The UP government will organize the International Kite Festival here ahead of the Ram Temple consecration ceremony on January 22.

According to an official announcement issued on Thursday, the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) has begun preparations for the festival, which is expected to take place between January 19 and 21, and will provide famous kite flyers from both within the country and throughout the world with an opportunity to demonstrate their skill.

The statement stated that inspiration for organizing this festival on a large scale is drawn from different kite festivals hosted in the nation and overseas.

The ADA has solicited applications to select a private agency to conceptualize, plan, execute, and supervise the event.

The agency that will work on the kite festival will be zeroed in on by January 8, press communiqu? stated.

A visitors’ area would be designed with seating arrangements for 750 people along with a VVIP lounge to accommodate 50 special invitees to the event. Attendees of the event would get an opportunity to savour dishes made from millet and Awadhi cuisine, the release added.
