Amethi, 28 February: Twenty-eight youngsters were ill after taking filariasis treatment at a government primary school in Udwa, according to officials. They were admitted to the Community Health Center, where their condition was deemed safe, they claimed.
On Tuesday, health staff administered anti-filaria and deworming medicines to students at the primary school, and 28 of them were unwell, according to Chief Medical Officer Dr Anshuman Singh.
Singh stated that anti-filaria and deworming pills might cause symptoms such as fever, joint discomfort, and facial puffiness.
He said that everything is in control right now.
Girish Kumar, principal of the primary school, stated that students are receiving medications as part of an ongoing drive to eradicate filariasis.
Kumar stated that he received word this morning that several youngsters were feverish and had knee and leg discomfort. Following this, health personnel were promptly notified, and all youngsters were transported to Fursatganj’s Community Health Center, he stated.
