New Delhi, July 19: The date of ‘Bhumi Pujan’ (worship of land) at Ramjanmabhoomi site for the construction of grand Ram temple in Ayodhya has been fixed on August 5 in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also participate.
As per the sources, PM Modi will perform ‘Bhumi Pujan’ and also to visit Hanumangarhi temple to pay obeisance to lord Hanuman during his three-hour stay in Ayodhya.
Earlier, the second meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust took place at Circuit House on Saturday, in which it was decided to perform ‘Bhumi Pujan’ for the temple construction on August 3 or 5.
The Prime Minister Modi was invited by the President of the Temple Trust to perform the rituals to initiate the work of construction.
In a meeting that lasted for about two and a half hours on Saturday, it was unanimously decided that the delay in construction of the Ram temple is no longer in line with the aspirations of the Ram devotees. Therefore, on the August 5 in the holy month of Sawan, auspicious event will be done.
The height of the temple will increase, now there will be four domes instead of three
Trust general secretary Champat Rai said that time has been sought from the Prime Minister on behalf of the chairman.
He told that the construction of the temple will be on the model of the proposed Chandrakant Sompura but the size and height of the temple will be increased. The summit of the Ram temple will be 161 meters high and now will have five domes instead of three.
He further said that technical aspects and other work related to the construction of Ram temple will be edited by the country’s leading construction company Larsen & Toubro, but all the stone work will be the responsibility of the Sompura family. For the past three decades, the stone carving work for the construction of the Ram temple on the model of the Sompura family has been going on. The model of Ram temple has been prepared by Chandrakant Sompura on the instructions of Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas and this model has also been approved by saints and ‘Dharmacharyas’ from all over the country.
Money will be collected from ten crore families
It was decided in the trust meeting that the Ram temple symbolizes the faith of all. In such a situation, financial support should be obtained from everyone for the construction of a grand and divine Ram temple.
After monsoon, financial support should be raised from 10 crore families in 4 lakh places across the country by running a contact and collection campaign.
In the present Corona period, door-to-door, village-to-village contact is not possible. In such a situation, after the situation becomes normal, this campaign should be started and continued.
Trust general secretary Champat Rai said that Ram will be a wonderful temple to be built on the land of birth. There will be no shortage of money in the work of God.
Temple will be built in three-and-a-half years
After the trust meeting, General Secretary Champat Rai said that the trust members were shown the remnants of the remains found during the leveling of the birth land and informed of the Soil Testing and other work done by Larsen & Toubro. All members of the trust were satisfied with this. Larsen & Toubro has conducted soil testing up to 60 meters deep and 35-40 feet from the birth land.
