Lucknow, 09 November: Many government ministers and BJP leaders, including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, have expressed grief over the demise of former government minister and Lucknow East MLA Ashutosh Tandon ‘Gopalji’.
Expressing his condolences, Yogi Adityanath wrote that the demise of Ashutosh Tandon is very sad. He will always be remembered as a popular, hard-working and militant politician.
It is a prayer to Lord Shri Ram to grant the departed saint a place at his feet and the bereaved family members the strength to bear this immense sorrow.
Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana has said in his condolence message that this is our personal loss. There has been a void in the politics of the state due to the demise of Ashutosh Tandon. Words can’t describe what I’m feeling.
Senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote on Instagram that he is deeply saddened by the untimely demise of former cabinet minister and popular current MLA from Lucknow East assembly constituency Ashutosh Tandon “Gopal”.
As a public leader who dedicated his entire life to the service of the state and the party, his demise is an irreparable loss for our party and the political world.
Bharatiya Janata Party state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary wrote on Twitter that the news of the demise of Ashutosh Tandon ‘Gopalji’ is extremely painful. Tandon ji will always be remembered for his dutifulness, simplicity and energetic leader.
