Ahmedabad, July 6: Congress leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi filled the party workers with enthusiasm at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan in Paldi, Ahmedabad on Saturday.
He asked them to prepare themselves from now to defeat BJP in Gujarat. He tried to surround BJP from all sides by mentioning Ram Mandir, Abhay Mudra and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rahul Gandhi is on a Gujarat tour to protest against stone pelting on Congress office and arrest of party workers. He also has a program to meet the families of the victims of various incidents in Gujarat. Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the workers of Gujarat Congress, assured them that Congress will win in Gujarat. BJP has destroyed their office, we will destroy their government.
Rahul Gandhi, referring to BJP’s defeat in Ayodhya, said that BJP lost in Ayodhya because the people whose land was taken by BJP in Ayodhya did not get a place in the consecration of Ram temple.
Rahul Gandhi told the workers that in the election, Congress workers stood like a lion for India Alliance in Ayodhya and BJP lost there.
Rahul Gandhi told the Congress workers of Gujarat that you people have faced a lot of lathi charge, now they have to be removed.
Rahul Gandhi said that Congress’ manifesto in the Lok Sabha election put BJP on the back foot. A similar manifesto has to be made for Gujarat as well, but it has to be made after talking to the people of Gujarat.
