New Delhi, 19 May: In a shot at the Bharatiya Janata Party, jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal out on bail stated on Sunday that the BJP has launched ‘Operation Jhaddu’ to demolish AAP, and that the BJP intends to arrest all of his party’s top officials.
The Delhi Chief Minister made the speech at DDU Marg in the national capital, ahead of his scheduled protest march to the BJP headquarters on Sunday. The event was attended by all of the AAP’s senior leadership.
The BJP has launched ‘Operation Jhaadu’ to prevent us from becoming too powerful and posing a threat to them. AAP’s top leaders would be detained under ‘Operation Jhaadu’, and their bank accounts will be blocked in the following days, according to Kejriwal.
It is worth noting that Kejriwal’s harsh remark against the ruling BJP came the day after his former PA, Bibhav Kumar, was arrested in connection with an alleged attack on AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal.
During his speech, Kejriwal also claimed that the BJP is planning to freeze AAP officials’ bank accounts once the 2024 general elections are over. ?The ED’s counsel has previously stated in court that AAP’s bank accounts will be stopped shortly after the election.”
He stated that if they “freeze our account today, we will receive pity”. “Following the election, they will freeze our funds, clean out our office, and take us to the streets. The BJP has proposed three proposals,? according to Kejriwal.
The Chief Minister said that no gold or money had been found from him, and that the BJP had detained AAP leaders by filing bogus charges. How many claims have they (the BJP) made since I came to power in 2015? People are inquiring if the liquor policy fraud happened and where the money is. Raids in other sites result in the recovery of notes and gold, but nothing was discovered here. Where is the money? They (the BJP) filed false charges and arrested our individuals, Kejriwal claimed.
Meanwhile, in connection with the assault complaint, Bibhav Kumar appeared before Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court, which remanded him in police detention for five days.
