Sambhal, 28 April: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav stated on Sunday that the BJP will not win any seats in the third round of the Lok Sabha elections and that the ruling party misjudged the direction of the wind when it adopted the 400 paar slogan.
Addressing a rally in Sambhal, Yadav stated that the Samajwadi Party will have an edge in the third phase, with elections scheduled for May 7 between Sambhal and “his home turf” in Etawah and Mainpuri.
“BJP people did not know the direction of the wind, so they kept saying ‘400 paar’ (winning over 400 seats) and when they realised the public sentiment after the two phases of the election, BJP forgot its slogan,” the previous chief minister of the state added.
?The wind that arrived from the west (western Uttar Pradesh) during the first phase will alter the BJP administration. A similar pattern was noticed in the second phase as well. People do not accept the BJP,? according to the SP head. ?It is now your obligation in the third phase,” he said those assembled at a rally in favor of party candidate Zia ur Rahman Barq.
These elections are being held from here to our home. Netaji (SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav) was also an MP from Sambhal. Voting will take conducted from here until Mainpuri. “I can say that the BJP will not open an account in any Lok Sabha seat here,” Yadav remarked.
