Lucknow, 12 June: A black stripe has been put on the name plate of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Manoj Pandey with Chief Whip written in front of his name in the Assembly. The reason behind this is said to be his rebellion from the party.

Now, separating himself from SP, he has also taken membership of BJP. It is noteworthy that SP MLA from Unchahar, Rae Bareli, Manoj Pandey had distanced himself from the party and President Akhilesh Yadav during the winter session in Uttar Pradesh. He was angry with Swami Prasad Maurya’s continuous anti-Hindu rhetoric.

After this he opened a front against SP and adopted a rebellious attitude. Despite Manoj being a party rebel, SP President Akhilesh Yadav did not show him the way out of the party. In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in the country, he left his bicycle and went with Kamal and also took membership of BJP.

It is being told that after he joined BJP, SP relieved him of all responsibilities. Today his responsibility of being the Chief Whip of the party in the Assembly was withdrawn. A black stripe has been put on the post of SP Chief Whip written on his name plate.
