Lucknow, 15 June: The body of a youth was found on the terrace of Sapru Marg Gomti Residency Apartment in Hazratganj on Saturday. The police have sent the body for post-mortem and have started further action.
Police station in-charge Vikram Singh said that information was received on UP dial 112 that the body of a youth has been found on the roof of Gomti Residency Apartment. Police reached the spot after receiving information and took possession of the body and called the forensic team for further investigation.
The investigation team collected evidence from the spot and sent the body for post-mortem for further action. Station in-charge said that the deceased has been identified as Amit Pandey (28), a security guard at Gomti Enclave. He was missing from home since yesterday evening.
The family members have expressed suspicion of murder after injury marks were found on the body. At present, further action is being taken by sending the body for post-mortem.
