Bollywood celebrities cast their votes, appeal to the public of Maharashtra to vote

Mumbai, November 20; Voting is being held today for all 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. The bigwigs of the film industry also showed enthusiasm to vote. There was also a rush to vote among film actors and actresses. Many celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia, Tusshar Kapoor, John Abraham, Sunil Shetty, Rajkumar Rao, Rakesh Roshan, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, Rakul Preet Singh and Hema Malini have voted. These celebrities have appealed to the citizens of Maharashtra to exercise their franchise.

Bollywood’s Khiladi Kumar actor Akshay Kumar also exercised his franchise. After voting, he said in a conversation with the media, “Preparations have been done well here. There are good facilities for senior citizens, there is cleanliness. I want everyone to come out of their homes and vote.” Akshay has voted for the second time. Actor Akshay Kumar voted for the first time in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections after giving up Canadian citizenship and accepting Indian citizenship.

Actor-director Farhan Akhtar appealed to the citizens and said, “It is our social responsibility. Every person should vote as a citizen. It is necessary to do so to shape the future of our state, our country. If you have not voted, do not complain.” Actor Rajkumar Rao voted and said “It is very important, voting is necessary. Everyone please come out and vote. This is voting day, it is very important.”

Bollywood dream Girl Hema Malini also reached to cast her vote with her daughter Isha Deol. On this occasion, BJP MP and actress Hema Malini said that I am coming after voting. My request to all of you is that you all come to vote. This is your responsibility for the future of the country.” Film actor Arjun Kapoor also voted.
