New field units of ATS established in many districts

During the discussion on the Governor’s address, the CM said that Uttar Pradesh is number one in the whole country in getting punishment for criminals involved in crimes against women. At the same time, under the police reform, for the first time, the Police Commissionerate System has been implemented in seven districts of the state. There was talk of implementing it from 1973 to 1974, but no one was able to muster courage. We have implemented the Police Commissionerate System in Lucknow, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Kanpur, Varanasi, Agra, Ghaziabad and Prayagraj. Apart from this, new field units of ATS have also been formed in many districts including Deoband, Bahraich, Aligarh, Kanpur. Three women PAC battalions have been established in Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Badaun. Action is underway to establish five other PAC battalions in Balrampur, Jalaun, Mirzapur, Shamli and Bijnor.

Recruitment done on 1,56,000 posts in Police Department since 2017

The Chief Minister said that a Special Security Force has been formed, which can contribute in the security of metro and airport. Its six battalions have been formed. ANTF has been formed by the government. Advanced Cyber ​​Forensic Lab has been established in Cyber ​​Crime Headquarters Lucknow, Basic Cyber ​​Forensic Lab at 18 area police stations and Cyber ​​Crime Police Stations in 57 districts. At present, cyber cells have been made functional in 75 districts. A cyber help desk has been formed in every police station. A Uttar Pradesh State Forensic Institute has also been formed in Uttar Pradesh. It is currently operational.

He informed that recruitment has been completed on 1,56,000 different posts in Uttar Pradesh Police since 2017. At present, the recruitment process of 60,200 police personnel is going on, whose training will start in the next one month. 30,000 other new recruitments are coming soon. Along with this, by providing ATS with state-of-the-art technology and excessive weapons, 130 terrorists and 171 Rohingyas have been arrested till 2017. There has been unprecedented improvement in law and order in the state as compared to 2017. The response time of UP 112, which was earlier 25 minutes 42 seconds, has been reduced to 7 minutes 24 seconds today. More than 11 lakh CCTV cameras have been installed under Operation Trinetra.

Under Operation Conviction, 51 accused were awarded death penalty

The Chief Minister said that under Operation Conviction, from July 2023 to December 2024, 51 accused were awarded death penalty, 6287 accused were awarded life imprisonment, 1091 accused were awarded imprisonment for more than 20 years, 3068 accused were awarded up to 19 years and 57,885 accused were awarded 9 years and 51 thousand 748 accused were awarded up to 5 years. From 19 November 2019 till now, in the pending proceedings against the identified mafia gangs, 31 mafias, 74 organized criminals have been awarded life imprisonment separately by effectively advocating in this. Along with this, two have been awarded death penalty.

Three lakh 22 thousand couples have been married so far

The Leader of the House said that under Mission Shakti, 20 percent reservation facility has been provided in police recruitment. In the year 2018, the female work force in the state was 14.02 percent, which has increased to 35.01 percent. Through various schemes related to social security, 22 lakh 11,000 girls have been given benefits under the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana. Through various pension schemes including the destitute women pension scheme, Rs 1000 per month i.e. Rs 12000 per year is being given. The government is working to provide this pension facility to more than one crore four lakh families. Under the Chief Minister’s mass marriage scheme, marriage programs of 3 lakh 22 thousand couples have been completed so far.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also discussed industrial investment in the House. He said that the government made 33 sectoral policies. Implemented single window system. Arrangements were made so that people can get 500 types of NOC in one portal without human intervention. Investment Sarathi portal was created for continuous monitoring of MoU. If someone has invested, he should get online incentive. As a result of this, UP is being honored as the top achiever state in ease of doing business.

The Chief Minister also discussed the per capta income. The Chief Minister said that the per capta income of the state was discussed. He said that in 2016-17, the per capta income in the state was Rs 48,520. In 2023-24, it has increased to 93,514. The GDP of the state was 12 lakh 82 thousand crores in 2016-17, which has increased to more than 25 lakh 48 thousand crores in 2023-24. In this financial year, it is going to increase and cross 27.5 lakh crores. If BH is also included then UP alone will have a GDP of 30 lakh crores.

Water, land and air connectivity has become excellent The Chief Minister said that in the last eight years, the state has had excellent water, land and air connectivity. UP has become the expressway state of the country. After the construction of Ganga Expressway, UP will have 55 percent of the expressways. UP has the best rail-highway network. Final approval has been given to the action of connecting up to 250 hamlets in rural roads with the PM Rural Road Scheme.
