A Congress leader has become a victim of obscene videos. This leader has contested the assembly elections.
The police of Kanadia police station is conducting an investigation. The Crime Branch has registered an FIR for making a fake video of BJP candidate Kailash Vijayvargiya.
According to Crime Branch DCP Nimish Aggarwal, the maximum number of complaints of deepfakes were registered during the assembly elections.
A fake video of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath was also made and circulated on the internet, which was related to the closure of the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana.
An FIR was also registered in the crime branch regarding this fake video.
On the complaint of Congress leader Rakesh Yadav, the cyber cell is investigating the matter. An obscene video of a Congress candidate was released on the internet, in which he was shown in an objectionable position. The crime branch registered an FIR in this case also.
According to Cyber SP Jitendra Singh, the gang making deepfakes is active on the darknet. Till now, weapons, drugs, and ATM-credit card information were being sold on the darknet. In the era of artificial intelligence, now fake videos are being made on Darknet as well. Up to one lakh rupees are being charged for a one-minute-long video. This work is done at two levels. It is prepared with the help of machine learning and artificial intelligence. In this technology, the help of a coder and decoder is taken. The decoder examines the face and gestures of the person whose video is to be made. After this, it is applied to the fake face.
