Lucknow, 01 January: So far, 871 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the state in the last twenty four hours.
In the meantime, 1,263 people were discharged after treatment. The number of active cases has come down to 13,831. At the same time, the recovery rate of corona has been 96.21 percent.
Additional Chief Secretary, Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said on Friday that the number of people recovered after getting infected has increased to 5, 64,541.
He said that 1, 44,005 samples were investigated yesterday. At the same time, a total of 2, 40, 87,257 samples have been investigated in the state, in which more than one crore have been investigated through RTPCR.
He said that out of the total active cases, 5,924 people are in home isolation. At the same time, 1,291 people are undergoing treatment in private hospitals. Apart from this, the remaining patients are admitted in government hospitals of L-1, L-2 and L-3.
Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health informed that the work of surveillance is in progress. So far 15,08,14,752 population of 3,10,04,882 households have been surveyed through 5,00,490 team days in 1,80,018 regions.
4,389 people a day consulted with e-Sanjeevani
At the same time, e-Sanjeevani portal has been started for medical treatment. Through e-Sanjeevani, 4,389 people underwent medical counseling in a day. Thus, a total of 3, 36,519 people have received medical consultation so far.
