New Delhi, 6 September: The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) on Tuesday approved Bharat Biotech’s Nasal Vaccine. It can be given for emergency use to adults above 18 years of age. Now the nasal vaccine has also been included in the war against the corona epidemic in the country.
Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted that Recombinant Nasal Vaccine has been approved by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO). This step will further strengthen country’s collective fight against India’s fight against Corona.
After approval, now the vaccine can be given to a person above 18 years of age for primary immunity against corona.
Mandaviya said that India has used its science, research and development and human resources in the fight against Corona. With the science driven approach and Sabka Prayas under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we will defeat Corona.
