New Delhi, 26 November: The Central Government has renamed Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centers as ‘Ayushman Arogya Mandir’.
The Union Health Ministry has sent a letter to states and union territories to rename health and wellness centres.
In the letter, the Health Ministry said that Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centers (AB-IHWCs) are being recognized by the most vulnerable section of the society as a facility which is not only close to their doorstep but also provides primary health care to most of them. Now going a step further and realizing the dream of Ayushman Bharat, the competent authority has decided to rename the Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centers as ‘Ayushman Arogya Mandir’. Its tagline will be “Aarogyam Param Dhanam”.
