Lucknow, 15 Jan: Authorities have proposed helicopter flights between Lucknow and Ayodhya ahead of the Pran Pratishtha event at the Ram shrine on January 22.
According to the Ayodhya Information Department, three of the six helicopters being deployed would be flown from Ayodhya and three from Lucknow. The services will launch on January 19. Helicopters can transport eight to 18 passengers.
Earlier, sources said that the journey will cost โน 3,000. However, the timetable and cost rates will not be set until Tuesday, at which point devotees can book their flights.
Vinod Kumar, Director of Yodhya Airport, had stated that a list of 100 aircraft landings for January 22 had been prepared.
