CM meets injured PAC jawans, Murtuja on judicial remand for 14 days

GORAKHPUR, 04 APRIL: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached BRD Medical College to meet the police personnel injured in the attack at Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur.  

CM yogi met Gopal Gaur and Anil Paswan, both the injured jawans, while nabbing the attacker Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi.

Yogi appreciated their courage and valor and assured that the government would take the responsibility of their treatment. During this he also met the families of the injured. Here, after the hearing, the court has sent the accused Murtuja Ahmed Abbasi on judicial remand for 14 days.

On the other hand, two youths, who left the attacker at the temple on bike, have been held by the UP Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) from Maharajganj district. Both are said to be suspects.

The Chief Minister had announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh for these PAC constables and Civil Police constable Anurag Rajput on Monday afternoon itself.

The accused attacker Ahmed Murtuja Abbasi was produced in the court on Monday. Accused Ahmed Murtaza was produced in the court of ACJM Court First Deepak Kumar amidst heavy security, from where he has been sent on judicial remand for 14 days.

Let us inform that on Sunday, a man attacked the PAC constables deployed in the security of the Gorakhnath temple. Two policemen were severely injured in this incident.

On receiving the news of the attack on the soldiers guarding the temple, the police officers rushed to the spot. From Gorakhpur to Lucknow, the mobile phones of the officers started ringing.
