Lucknow, June 25: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has handed over rural residential rights papers (Gharauni) to 11 lakh families digitally and 10 people directly during the program organized at Lok Bhavan on Saturday.

On this occasion, CM Yogi said that by August 22, survey of more than one lakh ten thousand revenue villages of the state would be completed and by October 2023, every rural household would be provided home. Today, Jalaun has become the first district of the state where 100 percent people have got their homes ready.

Addressing after handing over the home certificates digitally and physically under the Chief Minister Yogi Swamitva Yojana, he said that we are all grateful to Prime Minister Modi for whose efforts this program started from April 2019. This is not just a program; it is a technique which is also a campaign to give ownership rights to the villagers of their ancestral residential land. Today 34 lakh families of Uttar Pradesh are being given Gharuni Certificate. After getting the ownership of the house, now these people can also take a loan from the bank for doing any business.

Yogi said that Gandhiji had dreamed of ‘Gram Swaraj’, Prime Minister Modi started the work of self-reliant village. Today, distribution of Gharauni Certificates has been completed to more than 34 lakh families. This is an important event in the democratic history of India.

Yogi further added it is a coincidence that today this country had raised its voice against the Emergency. On this day in 1975 emergency was forcibly imposed on this country secretly. And after that, a movement was born to save democracy. Democracy is also victorious from the point of view that the work of distribution of household items to 23 lakh families has been completed, organized today at every tehsil headquarters for distribution of home certificates to 11 lakh families. Such people had been living on their land for years, but there were frequent disputes over small matters. When the house collapsed, the mafia used to stop someone from building his house. Somewhere the accountant used to stop, recovery was done. From the land of the population, the oppressed used to destroy the poor.

The Chief Minister said that this has come to an end after the technically prepared home certificate. The measurement of residential land is done by technical. Survey is done from Drona. Comments on consent and disagreement are taken in the village’s open meeting. After all the solutions are done, Gharauni is prepared.

Yogi stated, so far 34 lakh people have got its benefit. Today, Jalaun has become the first district of the state where 100% of the villagers would have got home.

The Chief Minister said that in the absence of residential certificate, there used to be disputes regarding one feet, two feet of land or drain. Somewhere a dispute arose over the tying of animals on the land of the population. Generation after generation was passed on for justice in the court. Money and time both were wasted on this. The government of double engine has done away with all these problems. Gharauni has been distributed to 2.5 crore people in the country.

The state government is taking it in the form of a campaign. Gharauni will get the ability to take bank loan and he will also be able to do business.

He said that the State Government has prepared a comprehensive plan. As soon as we came to power in 2017, we had formed the Anti Land Mafia Force against the land mafia and those who occupied the land of the poor under political patronage. 64 thousand hectares of land freed. Musahar, Chero, Vantangiya, Sahariya, Chero, Kol, who could not hear any voice, gave them a piece of land, a house.

Yogi said, today no villager is leading a life of deprivation. Everyone is going to provide ration card, free ration, cooking gas, electricity connection and now drinking water from tap to every house. This is how a sensitive government works. Similarly, pension is being given to every destitute elderly, woman, handicapped and leprosy patient. Before 2017, these people used to get a pension of 300 rupees, which has been increased to 1000 rupees per month.

Take the revenue council as a challenge to resolve the land dispute

Describing land dispute as half root of law and order, CM Yogi said that most of the cases in public darshan are related to land dispute and police.

He said that to end the land dispute, take it as a challenge and work on a war footing taking the land record on priority. Instead of registering the name in Khatauni after six years, the name should be added to Khatauni as soon as the land is sold. Because many times a person sells the same land again and again. This increases the controversy, so it has to be stopped at all costs. It has to be done within the time limit. The Revenue Council and the Registry Department will have to see whether the seller has land or not. Hand over the wrongdoer to the police. If this arrangement is added than half the problem and dispute will be resolved. The revenue department and the police department have to be freed from fraud.

In view of the pending cases of inheritance, CM Yogi said that for this people have to make repeated rounds. In such a situation, there should be a time limit for registering the inheritance and accountability should be fixed in the pending case. Similarly, time should be fixed to solve the problem of metering. Timely resolution of the metering problem will reduce crime and the state will develop.
