Kanpur, 30 September: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was on a visit to the DAV Ground public meeting in Kanpur district, met Meenakshi, the victim of the Gorakhpur incident in the police line.
He comforted the victim while expressing his condolences. In front of the Chief Minister, the victim made demands for the job, hiking compensation, transfer of the investigation to Kanpur and getting the investigation done by CBI. The Chief Minister assured justice to the victim at every level and assured that their demands would be met.
Meanwhile, Govind Nagar Vidhan Sabha MLA Surendra Maithani informed the media about the meeting of the victim with the Chief Minister and his demands.
He told that a total of four demands were placed by the victim Meenakshi in front of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Chief Minister also directed to increase the compensation amount of the victim from 10 to 10 and to transfer the murder case from Gorakhpur to the investigation in Kanpur. Along with this, while giving instructions to appoint her on the post of OSD in KDA, asked the district administration to take necessary action. At the same time, instructions were given to write to the MLA for the investigation of the incident to be done by the CBI.
The MLA told that the Chief Minister has accepted all the demands and said that no one will be spared. She is completely satisfied that the Chief Minister has accepted the demands of the victim.
After the meeting, the victim Meenakshi told that she is completely satisfied to meet the Chief Minister. He has accepted all the demands. Compensation, job and transfer of Kanpur case have been agreed and also said about the CBI investigation that he has no objection, will recommend it.
