Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has release book ‘Wisdom on Crown’ written by Lt General Prof BNBM Prasad (retd).
Lt Gen Dr Prasad is a renowned Pulmonologist and was involved in COVID-19 care in Uttar Pradesh during peak period of the pandemic.
In his book, Prof Prasad has busted fake narrative and misinformation campaign of the WHO related with inflated figures of Covid-19 deaths in India recently reported by the health body.
The book contains Prof Prasad’s perspectives on Covid-19 pandemic.
“By virtue of working in the largest Covid -19 care facility in Uttar Pradesh during peak of the pandemic, I can assure that every mortality that occurred was accounted for and in-fact many of Covid-19 deaths were indirect due to underlying co-morbidities than to Covid-19 infection,” said Prof Prasad.
Lt Gen Dr. Prof. BNBM Prasad, SM, VSM, is professor of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine and advisor, Medical Education, Uttar Pradesh government.
