Lucknow, 19 November: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is seriously thinking to crack down on the black business of illegally giving ‘Halal Certificate’ to food and cosmetic products sans any authority.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of this serious issue, and has given instructions to take strict action.
It is alleged that terrorist outfits and anti-national activities are being funded by the illegal income being collected in the name of Halal certificate with the help of forged documents. Now the First Information Report (FIR) has also been lodged at Hazratganj police station under the Lucknow Commissionerate.
According to an FIR, Halal India Private Limited Chennai, Jamiat Ulema Hind Halal Trust Delhi, Halal Council of India Mumbai, Jamiat Ulema Maharashtra Mumbai etc. provided Halal certificates to customers of a particular religion in the name of religion to increase their sales. Illegal business is being run for financial gain. These companies have no authority to give certification to any product. The said companies are preparing forged certificates and issuing Halal certificates to various companies for financial gain. This not only increases social hatred but is also a betrayal of public trust.
The complainant has expressed apprehension of a big conspiracy and said that efforts are also being made to reduce the sales of the products of the companies which have not obtained such Halal certificate, which is a criminal act. There is apprehension that this unfair advantage is being passed on to anti-social/anti-national elements. The special thing is that Halal certificate is also being given for the sale of vegetarian products like oil, soap, toothpaste, honey etc., whereas no such certificate is required for vegetarian items. Obviously a criminal conspiracy is being hatched against a particular community and their products.
The complainant alleges that under the guise of religion, unrestrained propaganda is being spread among a particular section of the society to not use such products which have not been given Halal certificate by their company. As a result, the business interests of other communities are being harmed. Thus, a malicious attempt is being made to earn unfair financial benefits by issuing Halal certificates even on items meant for use by common citizens.
According to the complainant, this is being done by the above mentioned companies not only for economic gain but also as per a pre-planned plan to spread class hatred in the society and weaken the country by creating discrimination among the common people, in which apart from the owners and managers of the above mentioned companies, many other people are also involved. is also complicit in a criminal conspiracy and many other people involved in anti-national conspiracies and weakening the country are also involved.
The complainant has also expressed the apprehension of the said people earning unfair profits worth crores of rupees and funding terrorist organizations and anti-national activities. Let us tell you that institutions like FSSAI and ISI have been authorized to certify the quality of food products etc.
